The MARISA H2020 project aims at providing security communities operating at sea with a data fusion toolkit, which makes available a suite of methods, techniques and modules to correlate and fuse various heterogeneous and homogeneous data and information from different sources, including Internet and social networks, with the aim to improve information exchange, situational awareness, decision-making and reaction capabilities.
After the first Workshop, where the novel techniques and algorithms implemented in MARISA H2020 have been presented and discussed, the second workshop will address the results of the first campaign of MARISA operational trials held in 2018 in the following areas:
· North Sea
· Iberian
· Ionian Sea
· Aegean Sea
· Strait of Bonifacio
Moreover, introducing the additional services that will be implemented in the second phase of the project, the workshop intends to open a discussion with the stakeholders concerning the possible future use of MARISA Toolkit, its interoperability with existing solutions currently available across Europe in order to gather recommendations and advices for the preparation of the MARISA adoption models and final exploitation plan.
